The Georgia Outdoor Hall of Fame is at the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center in Mansfield, Georgia. The wildlife center’s namesake was an avid outdoors writer and advocate, and was the first person the Georgia Outdoor Writers Association chose for the Hall of Fame in 2007.
Since then, a distinguished group of outdoor enthusiasts, writers, and promoters of Georgia’s outdoor wonders have been inducted into the Hall of Fame, including a US President.
